During 2007 the Earl Shilton Business Forum (ESBF) was newly formed. This group has been set up with the assistance of the local government and a grant from Alchemy. Due to the building of the ring road around Earl Shilton the local government is aware that a number of changes will occur to the economics and structure of the town as traffic is reduced through its centre. To ensure that these changes have a positive effect on the town, the ESBF has been set up to give guidance to town planners and the local council as to the feelings of the local business community about proposed future changes.

The ESBF’s primary role is to build up a strong committee of local business people. This committee will then have a voice as to the future of Earl Shilton to promote the economy and ensure that their businesses continue to thrive and benefit from the building of the ring road.

Already the ESBF have put together an enthusiastic committee, and would like to grow the size of the committee and the type of members it has. By having a diverse committee will ensure that the voice the forum, best represents the majority of businesses within the town. Their latest project has been the creation of this website www.earlshiltonbusinessforum.com

The website will be a source for providing the latest news on going within the forum and will also act as a business directory for the town. Those businesses that join the forum will be given an account on the website which will enable them to further promote their business, products and services. By having an account you will be able to change your business information anytime you require 24/7.

Currently membership of the forum is FREE! We are here to help you and don’t feel that charging you right now is the best way to do this, whilst some funding remains any costs passed on to the membership will be kept to a bare minimum. So get in now and take advantage of us!

If you still have questions then don’t keep them to yourself, email us at; enquiries@earlshiltonbusinessforum.com with your questions, comments and ideas, but best of all attend the next meeting and have your say.
